KMUProduktionen is an open collective of people working in the fields of theatre and different arts, existing since a first production for the festival Hope and Glory, Zurich, 2002. The group creates methods of production-aesthetics while developing experimental formats of narrative and staging through diverse approaches of the participating artists and references to political- and performance-specific contexts. At the Venice Art Bienniale 2011 the three-lingual Installative Dramatisation «Deviare – Vier Agenten – Part of a movie» was shown as part of the official Swiss contribution. Cultural award of the City of Zurich in the year 2011 for the site-specific work «Der Bau der Wörter» (2010) and in 2013 for «MEMETUUM PLEX» by Christoph Rath/KMUProduktionen and «Striche durch Rechnungen» by Tim Zulauf/KMUProduktionen.
